Sony’s big press meeting last night in NYC didn’t have many surprises.  The PlayStation 4 was revealed to no one’s surprise.  What was a little surprising is that Jonathan Blow’s game, The Witness was displayed and announced for the PlayStation 4.  The creator of Braid has been hard at work on The Witness for many years and it was surprising to hear that The Witness would launch exclusively on consoles on PlayStation 4. Blow did select his words carefully and described the exclusivity as a launch window. It was great seeing an indie game developer featured at such an event (even if it’s one of the highest profile developers).
