is launching for Wii U on October 22. In the game, the protagonist travels through a dark and disturbing world searching for her missing friend, Kate. Kate’s disappearance is shrouded in mystery but could involve her ominous obsession with Slender Man, an abnormally tall being with a featureless face.
Similar to the original title, Slender: The Eight Pages , players are tasked with collecting various items while being stalked by Slender Man and his followers. While extra content was added to existing versions of the game last year, the significant addition to the Wii U release is the ability to use the Wii Remote as an in-game flashlight.
Slender: The Arrival initially released in 2013 as an expansion to Parsec’s original Slender Man game. The Blue Isle Studios title was developed in collaboration with other Slender experts, including the team behind the Marble Hornets video series and Eric Knudsen, the creator of Slender Man. Since its release, The Arrival has become available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and Steam. The game is rated Teen due to blood and violence, and, come October 22, the Wii U version will be available as a digital download in North America for $9.99.
