from Sillysoft Games is making a comeback on Steam this May. The turn-based strategy game is heavily inspired by classic board games like Risk and Conquest , and puts the player in a war for territory and world domination.

If complete world dominance isn’t enough, players will be able to take over and control more than 900 different worlds and even generate new ones, both planned and randomly, to conquer even more. Along with the gigantic number of maps, Lux Delux will also feature a multiplayer league and new game modes, like the Biohazard mode.

The developers also seem to want to fully integrate players in the making of the game. A development kit for constructing AI opponents will be available through the open-source LuxAgent SDK, and players can also use plugins to auto-generate maps. The map editor, on the other hand, is already in-game and easily accessible.

Lux Delux will be available on May 1 for PC, Mac, and Linux at a price point of $9.99 USD, but a 25% discount will be offered when it debuts. The game is going to feature full support to Steam achievements and Trading Cards, and is also confirmed to support online multiplayer leaderboards. For further information on the game, be sure to visit the game’s Steam page.
