Ignis Studios Brings ‘Deozoa: Legends of Eden’ to Kickstarter
Ignis Studios , a family run team out of Texas, USA, are hard at work on their debut RPG/Turn Based/Monster Catcher Deozoa: Legends of Eden , an impressive looking mash of Pokemon style monster raising with a rich core of traditional RPG character creation and battles.
, an impressive looking mash of Pokemon style monster raising with a rich core of traditional RPG character creation and battles. But the game needs your help to add the final pieces to its development.
Most of the ground work has been laid so far. There will be over 100 Deozoa creatures to collect through-out the adventure, which can be teamed up with one of ten human warriors with varying class types who can join your party within a maximum 6 vs 6 battlefield. It’s an open battle too, without a grid to follow, so you can move anywhere and attack or defend when your turn appears. As you progress, you’ll find more difficult enemies to battle against, so you’ll have to find the right combination of warriors and Deozoa in order to compete.
The Deozoa can evolve over time, through upwards of three stages from baby to adult form. The trick here, however, is that each warrior can only use one Deozoa in battle, so you must choose wisely. As well, unlike other monster catchers, the creatures created so far for the game don’t change their name with each evolution, though they do follow a similar pattern of types, such as Water, Rock, Fire or Electric types.
According to Ignis Studios , Deozoa: Legends of Eden should have upwards of 8 hours of gameplay through one sitting, and being an RPG there’s no doubt there will be plenty more hours taken up by experimentation and finding all of the Deozoa themselves. Ignis also promises a community driven experience, where you can submit ideas for future Deozoa creatures through a number of upcoming contests that the team may just add to the game during its continuous development.
Like it? Then why not get involved in Deozoa’s kickstarter! So far the game has passed the $11,000 mark, with the goal being $78,000. A $1 donation will get you access to the official forums where you can let your ideas by heard by the team and fans alike, but if you’re a fan of prizes for your donations, $15 will get you the game once it’s completed on iOS or Android, while a larger donation of $150 will give you the chance to be an official beta tester for the game. Bigger rewards include dinner with the team, a production credit in the game and the chance to be an NPC or playable character!
If successful, the team hope to release Deozoa: Legends of Eden not only on iOS and Android, but also on PC, Mac, Linux and Ouya in the future.
