From the very dawn of time, humans have always dreamed of achieving flight. Although that feat has become commonplace since the invention of aircraft, many young children still dream of growing up to become pilots.

Air Ace is a brand-new game by Greedy Robot for iPhone and iPod that allows you to take control of an ace fighter pilot during World War One. You take control of Percy Plantagenet Sommerset-Smythe on his journey all the way from the frozen hell of an Eastern campaign all the way to the searing heat of the desert.

This isn’t your standard, boring commercial flight, however; this is war, and it’s going to take all your skill and cunning to make it through alive. Dodging incoming fire from enemy aircraft along the way, it’s your job to destroy all your targets on the ground, pulverizing everything from trenches to bunkers with the bombs provided for you. Fortunately, not only are your guns and bombs upgradable, but there are even special weapons such as oil cannons, rear-firing machine guns and even a flamethrower to ensure that you’ll never be short on firepower.
