Mekazoo tells a tale of Mechanical Madness

Inspired by classics like Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World, The Good Mood Creators’ Mekazoo is a free flowing and fast-paced platformer all about the wacky lives of the mekanimals.

is a free flowing and fast-paced platformer all about the wacky lives of the mekanimals. The Good Mood Creators are a Seattle-based independent studio established in 2012 with the objective of creating engaging, non-violent, multi-platform games that can be enjoyed by both children and adults alike. In Mekazoo, players take control of five different ‘mekanimals’: the speedy armadillo, the acrobatic frog, springy wallaby, sturdy panda, and high-flying pelican. The gameplay consists of swinging, boosting, bouncing, climbing, and flying through 3D rendered environments in the hopes of defeating the insectoid army.

Although players begin with only the armadillo as a playable character, defeating bosses will return them to their former selves and unlock new mekanimals to play as. The mekanimals will come in pairs, giving players the power to instantly switch between which one they control. Each mekanimal also has unique skills which allow them to reach areas that other mekanimals cannot. Graphically, Mekazoo boasts beautiful 3D worlds which are complemented by an original soundtrack, and features a unique side-scrolling gameplay perspective that sees the camera shift right along with the mekanimals wherever they flip or turn. In traditional collectathon style gameplay, players can also look forward to shiny medals, sparkling gems, and an abundance of mekaballs which earn various rewards.

Mekazoo is expected for release during Q4 of 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Wii U.
