Epic Word Search Collection Comes to Nintendo eShop
Lightwood Games , based in the United Kingdom, is happy to announce that their most recent word puzzle game is among those now listed in the Nintendo eShop.
Epic Word Search Collection is an amalgamation of five of the developer’s “epic” puzzles, each of which is a word search leviathan. The grids contain more than 14,000 letters, within which are concealed hundreds of words. Given the size of each grid, the average time to complete a puzzle is around ten hours.
Using the D-pad or the circle pad, players navigate across the expanse of the puzzle. With the stylus, they tap and drag to select a word, while a word list on the upper screen lets them know which words can be found in the currently visible section. Activating the StreetPass™ feature allows them to share their progress and compare the results with other word search lovers.
Players can try their hand at Epic Food Word Search , Epic Movie Word Search (featuring terms related to sixteen classic movies), Epic Rock Word Search , Epic Sports Word Search , and Epic TV Word Search (including almost two thousand words related to more than a dozen different channels). This is the second title from Lightwood Games to be brought to the Nintendo eShop; another word puzzle game, Word Search By POWGI , debuted for both Nintendo DS and Wii U in March of this year.
Epic Word Search Collection is already available on the Nintendo eShop in Europe, priced at €7.99 (£5.99). It will be released in the North American eShop on Thursday, July 23, for $7.99 USD. Search for more puzzling fun on the Lightwood Games Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channel; players can interact with each other and with the developers, sign up to beta test new games, and even win prizes for their ideas.
