The Adventures of Sam and Hunni – A Chronic RPG Experience
Take a room of gamers and ask them to describe an RPG to you, and chances are you will hear a lot of answers dealing with brave warriors, dragons, saving the world, and rescuing a beautiful princess, or something along those lines.
Take a room of gamers and ask them to describe an RPG to you, and chances are you will hear a lot of answers dealing with brave warriors, dragons, saving the world, and rescuing a beautiful princess, or something along those lines. Chances are slim that you will hear someone say that an RPG is where you play as lady who bakes bread, and sells weed on the side. The Adventures of Sam and Hunni is looking to change that.
Sam is a sweet, independent woman who bakes and sells bread that is loved by many, and she also grows an herb that is also loved by many, but isn’t exactly legal. She delivers this herb to neighboring cities along with her friend Hunni, a weapons expert that dates a blacksmith named George. Things are normal for them both, until one day upon their travels they come upon a package. A package that is strange and rather mysterious, and one that an evil villain wants to get his hands upon and will stop at nothing to do so.
The game’s developer, Patrick Blake Mason, is currently running a campaign on IndieGoGoto raise funds for The Adventures of Sam and Hunni. The goal is $970, and will be for Windows platforms, and plans for a Steam Greenlight campaign is in the works. Those that would like to help out, but don’t have the financial means, can still do so by getting the word out about The Adventures of Sam and Hunni .
