Wuxia Warriors Joins Brawling and Basketball for Multiplayer Madness

New for PC, Wuxia Warriors is the brainchild of students from the Vancouver Film School in British Columbia.

is the brainchild of students from the Vancouver Film School in British Columbia. It features Smash Bros. -style brawling and platforming, with the devs (Adam Battocchio, Iain Lawson, Taylor Morris) describing it as being being focused “squarely on the 90’s style team sports side of things.” A minimum of 2 players (max 4) are pitted against each other to throw a ball at three targets on the enemy’s side of the arena. If you can bust all three targets, your team wins.

It’s also worth noting that the characters in the game are Shaolin monks (known as the first group to institutionalize kung fu), and that the ball used for gameplay is always on fire. Gameplay does require an Xbox 360 controller, and there are no NPCs, meaning that in order to play, you must have either 1 or 3 other folks to play with. There is also no 3-player option, as sides need to be evenly-matched. However, since Wuxia Warriors is currently free, there should be no problem convincing anyone to get it and try it out.

To download the newest build of the game, visit the developer’s Tumblr– the available build will always be the latest version. For more information about Wuxia Warriors , simply peruse the Tumblr page. You can also follow the team’s progress on their Facebookpage, or follow them on Twitter.
