‘Godus’ Prototype Coming This Week, Tech Demo Shown Off
As reported earlier this month, Peter Molyneux and his experimental game studio 22 Cans were looking at hopefully getting a prototype of Godus out by the end of December .

. It was reported earlier this week that the prototype would be available on Friday, but it looks like it will be coming later this week as Molyneux stated in the latest technology update video for the game.

“I’ve seen the prototype, I’ve actually played it… I’ve got a few changes I’d like to be made, but the progress has been pretty constant, so Friday is going to be the time when we show the rest of the world what the prototype is,” Molyneux said.

If you’re unfamiliar with Godus , it is a reimagining of Molyneux’s breakout 1989 god game Populous. Currently it looks like Godus may not reach its Kickstarter goal as it is at pledged of £450,000 goal with only five days left to go.
