Another zombie apocalypse?

Another zombie apocalypse? Well, one surely has time to chat up a pretty lady…oh, everything’s on fire? Well, let’s do something about that! Ted by Dawn is the story of one man’s struggle to balance his love for booze and illicit activities with his duty to kill the epic number of zombies that have taken over. Proteus Pixel brings a retro Metroidvania platformer with plenty of shooting, stabbing, and drive-by mayhem, as Ted Carcass lives up to his name and leaves the undead for dead.

Ted just wants a drink. He’s on his way to the bar when he runs into a scientist who brings the news of the infection that ruins both the world and Ted’s schedule. Drama ensues, and Ted is left to bring the scientist along in order to find a cure for the disease which has ravaged everything. Ted is not particularly enamored with the idea, but being a huge fan of shotguns, he decides to make the best of it. With numerous power-ups, including a sword that helps players plow through hordes, Ted by Dawn offers 60fps gameplay for smooth action, 20+ levels, and over 15 hours of gameplay. There is, of course, some humor injected into the story, and there’s even a co-op mode. Controller support is present, and recommended for the best gameplay experience.
