Nintendo wants players to turn back time with the NES Mini
Dubbed the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System, the revamped NES is an ultra-compact reimagining of the classic '80s console that features HDMI support.
Newsbrief: In a blast from the past, Nintendo has announced plansto bring back the NES this November.
The system will come bundled with 30 built-in classics, such as Super Mario Bros. , The Legend of Zelda , Metroid , Donkey Kong , and Kirby's Adventure.
There's no word yet on whether developers will be able to create new experiences for the bite-sized box, but Nintendo has confirmed the mini NES controller can be used to play Virtual Console NES games on the Wii U or Wii.
Co-op play can also be enabled by plugging in another NES mini gamepad or Wii classic controller. The system will hit shelves on November 11, and will retail for $60.
