Uncover the Dyatlov Pass Conspiracy in Kholat, now on PS4
Real world mysteries and conspiracies have a way of making their way into horror movies and games, to be exaggerated into great media.
Real world mysteries and conspiracies have a way of making their way into horror movies and games, to be exaggerated into great media. Polish developer IMGN.PRO has recently released the PS4 version of Kholat , a narrative driven horror game about the Dyatlov Pass Incident.
After doing some reading, I found that the Dyatlov Pass Incident is often cited as proof of a Yeti in the Ural Mountains, due to the questionable deaths of nine hikers in 1959. Kholat tells the fictional story of a hiker set out on the same path the hikers took, determined to discover what truly happened. The game’s trailer shows a lot of surreal images, as well as some intimidating wilderness. Narrated by legendary actor Sean Bean, the game certainly looks like it has the potential to be spooky.
Kholat’s launch on PC last June was IMGN.PRO’s first game release, though they have published several others. You can buy Kholat on Steamand Playstation 4.
