DaSuppa Company released a popular tower defense game called Total Defense 3D HD for the iPad some time ago, and now they’re back again to announce that they will be releasing that same game for iPhone on June 25th.

While it has been difficult to scale the broad experience of the game down for the iPhone screen, DaSuppa say that it’s lost none of its potency and is sure to please both old and new fans of the title.

For those who don’t know, the game hurls players from the earth, off into the center of a conflict taking place in a galaxy far far away. While there may not be any wookies to keep players occupied once arriving, they will find themselves knee deep in a conflict threatening to tear said galaxy a part. The game boasts an interesting story, unlike many of the other tower defense games crowding the App Store, and plenty of content to keep the story moving. Each of the game’s twenty-three missions are designed to drag the player deeper into the conflict, as well as arming them with plenty of hardware to deal with enemies and protect their allied mining colonies. Four upgradeable towers, five skill sets, and three levels of difficulty should keep you occupied with wiping out opponents for quite some time.

Add to that an exclusive, futuristic soundtrack and fully 3D rendered landscapes and this game promises to keep every corner of your iPhone’s screen quite busy. It is not clear if the original game will simply be converted into a universal app, or if the iPhone version will be sold separately, so keep an eye on the game’s App Storepage for further updates.
