A Day in the Woods Gets Festive

It’s that time of year again; winter is fast approaching and the holidays are just around the corner. To celebrate, RetroEpic Software is getting in the holiday spirit with its puzzle game, A Day in the Woods . IGM covered A Day in the Woods back in March, but here is a quick recap.

The game tells the story of the Little Red Riding Hood in a digital and modern version of traditional sliding puzzle games. Players move hexagonal tiles where Red is to an empty space in order to get her back home safely. Players can collect flowers and berries along the way while avoiding the dangerous creatures that inhabit the woods. RetroEpic Software’s holiday update adds a festive touch to Little Red Riding Hood, her friends and foes. Homes have been decorated as well to reflect the holiday season. Players will guide Red, wearing a red winter coat, as she collects presents for Granny, while the Lumberjack tries out his Santa outfit. This holiday theme will be available for all owners of the game on December 25 for both iOS and Android.

RetroEpic Software has reduced the price of A Day in the Woods to $1.99 (USD) for the month of December. The game is available on iOS via the App Storeas well as Android via Google Play.
