is a massively-multiplayer space-simulation game that puts players in the roles of elite pilots engaging in a widespread interplanetary skirmish. The game features a wide variety of battleships, from light and fast interceptors to powerful fighters and heavily-defended frigates. Players can choose to go it alone as an independent mercenary, team up with friends to form alliances, or join factions as part of militant star empires. The combination of strategic and skill-based gameplay allows players to develop their abilities and establish specialized skills.

The game is releasing a new update, Update 1.2: The Dogs of War. This update focuses primarily on players who have taken the mercenary route, allowing them to now join in on Dreadnought battles without having to answer a prior call for help from a corporation. Additional features for mercenaries are new customizable spacecrafts with offensive and defensive capabilities (depending on play style), with six available variants. There’s also a new Defense Contract mode, which tasks players with defending peace-loving locations from pirates.

Other additions are the introduction of two new locations. The first is Monolith Ruins, a city that was previously the main shrine of the Jericho faction, and provides players with a variety of tactics to employ using their surroundings. The second is Sanctuary, located in the orbit of the planet Tar, filled with pirates and all manner of players. A new boss has been implemented; they are known as the Destroyer, a lone being set on destroying everything. Players will need to team up in order to bring down this new threat.
