IGM Forum Finds: Challenge the Gods and Your Friends in Spells Arena
From 2 Think Media comes a new iOS adventure in Spells Arena .
. Gesture-driven combat is the order of the day, with single- or multi -player capabilities allowing you to move through a pre-set group of opponents, or play your friends in real-time. Choose your weapons (gems), cast your spells, and see if you’ve got what it takes.
Each gem has a set of skills – particular spells can be cast by drawing shapes on the screen with your finger. As you cast your spells, so does your opponent, and whoever breaks through the other’s defenses first is the winner. Players can choose from three characters, Inzana, Lahai, and Sish, then touch one of the gems in their collection to see the shapes necessary for both offense and defense, before drawing them correctly during a match to cast the spell.
After completing a level, you can apply whatever gems haven’t been destroyed in battle to opening a portal. Once all portals are opened on a map, it is completed, and new spells are unlocked. Players advance through three levels of proficiency: Apprentice, Sorcerer, and Warlock.
