Experience Surrealism and Dark Humor in You. Me. Heaven.
You. Me.
You. Me. Heaven. was recently released as a follow-up game to Biscuit Placebo’s You. Me. Hell. The new title is a point-and-click adventure full of dark humor and surrealism. The game features two protagonists, one named Tova and the other simply referred to as “the new girl.” Tova is a former bully who has left her old habits behind. Her past resurfaces, however, when a mysterious shadow knocks on her door.
Throughout the characters’ journeys, players meet a variety of interesting NPCs, discover an alternate dimension, participate in the family game show “Guests with Chests,” play rock-paper-scissors against a warlock, and discover what lies behind the secret door in Tova’s basement…unless there isn’t one at all. You. Me. Heaven. also features decision-making that has the potential to affect the game’s story and conclusion. The developer states, “This is not a game about heroes. This is a game about a shy bullied girl, and about a former bully’s journey through anguish and remorse.”
Biscuit Placebo makes it clear that this is not a game intended for young audiences. You. Me. Heaven. has a mature rating due to language, violence, gore, and “lots of pitch-black lethal humor.” The new title is completely free and available for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Androiddevices.
