Demons Age Dawns in 2016

PC and console adventurers alike may take an interest in Demons Age , a new title coming next year from Portuguese developer Bigmoon Interactive Studios .

. With turn-based action and stunning graphics, Demons Age will launch players into a dark new world.

On the peninsula of Moragon, demons – aided by orcs and a contingent of corrupted soldiers known simply as “the Order” – have ravaged the land. Moving from north to south, they wreak havoc as they go, devastating the peaceful lives of the citizens; Moragon is populated by not just humans, but also elves, dwarves, and halflings, all of whom find themselves thrown into “a violent and bloody war” against the forces of darkness. The player character washes ashore along the coast of the realm, and is immediately dragged into the situation.

Players must first establish their own character, then hire a band of NPCs to join the adventure. But not every potential hireling is honest and forthright; every one of them has their own secrets, and their own story. Any one of them could prove to be willing to stab the hero in the back, and the player must be wary when forming their party. In addition to the main quest, the player character can grow stronger through the completion of side quests – a must for most any RPG. Aiding the helpless citizens of Moragon brings rewards both tangible and intangible, and as the adventure continues, the party will find many different items to help them in their mission. As the party contends with intrigue, tragedy, and the prospect of betrayal from within their own numbers, they ultimately must find and reveal the truth about what caused the demon invasion.

Demons Age combines classic dungeon crawling atmosphere with challenging puzzles and ever-present danger. It will release in Q1 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Watch for further announcements on the Bigmoon Facebookpage.
