Faster Than Light is a brilliant roguelike, putting you in command of a spaceship on the run across multiple solar systems. A huge part of what makes it so engrossing is the music: ethereal melodies when you're navigating through uncharted space, driving rhythms when you're engaged in heated conflict with an enemy vessel. We talked with Ben Prunty, the composer of FTL's fitting soundtrack, about his process, what it's like working with indie developers, and getting the space exploration mood just right.
