Creepers Coming To ‘Minecraft: Pocket Edition’
It was just last week Minecraft: Pocket Edition was upgraded with skeletons, bows, and spiders, and now Mojang has another announcement that is bringing the mobile version of Minecraft closer to its PC/360 counterpart.
In a new post on Mojang’s blog they announced that they’ve submitted the much anticipated 4.0 update and are expecting it to release mid-September. Some of the new features include chests to store items, beds, creepers, TNT, more food and recipes, trap doors, and several dyes. Some tweaks Mojang are making to this version of Minecraft is longer days, limited total number of a given monster type in one area, and decreased movement speed when using an item. There’s also a long list of bug fixes for those users who ran into problems during their time in the sandbox indie game.
Of course the main focus of this update is the inclusion of creepers. For the users out there who thought they had it bad with the skeleton and spider update, just wait till one of these creepers blows you and your home to bits. Of course items like beds have been added to make things a bit easier as well.
Not only is it great seeing these updates bring the mobile version of Minecraft closer to the popular PC original, but how fast Mojang is doing it is impressive as well.
