Turn up Your Swag and Keep the Beat Going in Party Gods
“Have you ever seen a bull?
“Have you ever seen a bull? Dancing?” asks the trailer for Party Gods , an unconventional and yet inexplicably entrancing dance mobile game from Chopsticks Games. (It’s probably those cute pictures of bu…lls. Definitely the bulls.)
According to lore which may or not be true, bunnies are cute and cuddly, but particularly deadly when they get up close. They’re also known for ruining dance parties, which is especially relevant to Party Gods . Rhino, Bull, and Bear, the proclaimed party gods, have put their party glasses on and are looking to jam. But that’s when the bunnies hop in the way to break it up, and it’s up to the player to put a stop to them. The only way to do so is, obviously, rhythmically tapping on a mobile screen, thus keeping the party rocking by squashing any incoming critters.
Party Gods features ear-busting euro tracks, dubbed as “intense party music” by the developers. The challenge lies in tapping at the bunnies in sync with the beat of the music. For those that pick up the beat rather quickly, there are three different difficulty levels to tune the experience. And of course, party animals Rhino, Bull, and Bear are all selectable as playable (danceable?) characters.
Party Gods can currently be found dancing to the beat of its own drum on the Windows Phone Storefor $1.99. There is no word yet about availability for Android or iOS devices.
