Live and Die Under the Neon Lights in Defragmented
Oh to live in within an 80’s action film; the thumping soundtrack, neon lights, living in a constant hail of gunfire, the constant excitement.
Oh to live in within an 80’s action film; the thumping soundtrack, neon lights, living in a constant hail of gunfire, the constant excitement. This is kind of feeling Glass Knuckle Games has created in their new top-down shooter, Defragmented . Players enter the neon-lit city of Entropolis where it is up to them to uncover the conspiracies that lie in wait.
Everyone in the city has their own agenda so who can be trusted? Players can pick from one of three different classes as they shoot and loot their way through the streets of the city. Multiple skill trees are on hand to allow the player to create a personalized character. Combat is fast-paced, and health is precious, challenging players and forcing them to plan out their attack or face certain death. Loot and combat are both procedurally generated giving players a unique experience each play through. Think that cover will provide solid safety? A fatal error. Cover can be knocked over, shown through and blown apart forcing both players and enemies to be on the move.
Defragmented is currently in development but is expected to release February 12th on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux. There are no pricing details yet.
