Befriend, Train and Care for a Virtual Pet in Fightmons!

In a world where Tamagotchis, Pokemon , Digimon and an assortment of cute, strange creatures seek the public’s attention, it is no wonder that they seem to latch onto almost everyone as they grow up.

Well, it may be time to open hearts to another creature. Singular Games has recently released Fightmons! , a “virtual monster pet caring and training game” for iOS and Android devices.

Fightmons! begins with pet customization, allowing the player to choose the skin, marks, eyes, horns, spikes and aura of their pet, along with a name. Then, the pet goes to its home, where a garden, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and infirmary await it. Here, the carer plays minigames with their pet, in order to gain experience, coins and diamonds. Players will also be able to challenge friends or nearby pets.

When a pet gets enough experience, it will level up, giving the player attribute points that they can use to improve their pet in a number of ways, such as making it stronger or faster. At specific levels, Fightmons will evolve, and this allows the player to see a new side to their creature, as well as change the appearance of their home or pet. For example, a golden throne can be placed in the bathroom, or the pet can be equipped with a helmet.

Fightmons! came into being as a result of three friends, who all happened to be developers, wanted to make a game that they’d want to play. Despite the surprises of life taking each of them to different parts of the world, they embraced the challenge and worked together to complete one of their first games, with new people joining the studio as time progressed. In Fightmons! , the studio hopes everyone will make a new “virtual friend.”
