Help Save Pillville with the iOS & Android Puzzler Phil the Pill

Curious Media has an ongoing crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in order to help fund their multi-platform puzzle game, Phil the Pill .

. Though this exciting action adventure game was originally intended for iOS and Android, we will see it launched on Wii U and desktops as well, should things work out for the team.

In the world of Pillville, numerous pillbugs are ruled over by the beautiful and sweet Princess Polycorn. Naturally, you play as one of these adorable creatures, Phil the Pill, whose vicious appetite for sweets keeps him pretty occupied. When Hank the Stank, a horrible, smelly stink bug comes to town and starts spreading stench everywhere, it’s up to Phil to protect the princess and save Pillville.

The top-down style puzzles are much like Pac-Man , where the player must roll through mazes while avoiding fatal traps and enemies. Each maze has 3 pillbugs to save and a multitude of collectable coins scattered throughout; coins are used to purchase upgrades for Phil in the game’s shop. In addition to rolling, players can stand up to punch and use weapons to break through the various obstacles. If the player is successful in destroying Hank the Stank’s pungent operation, they will free Pillville and Princess Polycorn.

The campaign is set to end on the 24th of April, so there is still plenty of time to go and give support to this fun-yet-challenging game. Check out the Kickstarterwebsite and the game’s Steam Communityfor more information.
