This might be strange but stick with it: In a city dominated by an energy drink corporation, one man stands alone, fallen from fame and fortune. He dons his sweatbands once again to unleash righteous balls into the faces of his enemies. That man is Pete Pagassi. The game, Tennis in the Face . The developer, 10tons Ltd.
Players step into the athletic shoes of ex-tennis-pro Pete Pagassi in order to save the city from an evil energy drink corporation called Explodz. The energy drink has turned once-normal citizens ranging from hipsters, clowns, police and more into crazed Explodz-addicted maniacs. It’s up to the player and Pete to save the city and stop Explodz. The gameplay is easy to pick up – players simply move their mouse to adjust the aiming line, and click to serve a vicious ball to either an enemy’s face or an object in order to knock out the enemy. Players’ actions will set off chain reactions which unfold while knocking out the enemies. The more enemies knocked out, the higher the score.
