is a fast paced side scrolling shoot-em-up in classic arcade style, all bright colours and explosions, that incorporates some modern survival and squad-based elements. Players fight off hordes of zombies with a choice of 9 different weapons and over 2300 weapon modification combinations.
The game fully supports modding, allowing players to create custom game modes, weapons, and maps. When the modding community grows, the studio, Top Hat Studios, plan to display the best mods on its website. Double Death comes with four different game modes: Classic Survival, Endless Survival, Arcade/Story Mode and Infection PVP for single and multiplayer. Across these modes players explore diverse locations, from jungles to city streets.
Top Hat Studios was founded by 17 year old developer Joe ‘Bonesy’ Brown, and Double Death features art by JamoGames (artist and developer of Inner City Kids ), music by Xenogen, and voiceovers by YouTuber Crit1kal. The game is currently on Steam Greenlight, where it launched on November 23rd after 4 years in development.
