Epic Cat Runner Brings Endless Feline Fun to iOS

If there’s one thing the internet loves almost universally, it’s cats.

If there’s one thing the internet loves almost universally, it’s cats. A lot of us have cats of our own. They’re cute, clever, notoriously standoffish, and prone to doing hilarious things without preamble.

In Epic Cat Runner , from Australian developer Celestial Beings Studio, the player takes charge of one of these unpredictable felines and sends it running through an endless cityscape. The cat can be thoroughly customized to the player’s satisfaction, including through the use of costumes found during the run.

Players will guide their furry friends through the city on a parkour-style tour, dodging obstacles and buildings while climbing to collect coins, boosts, items, and collectibles. The kitty can earn achievements over the course of three levels with scaling difficulty, as well as accept daily challenges with special rewards. The unique “epic time” mode allows for exceptional coin bonuses. Social media scoreboards lets players challenge their Facebook friends and compete for the highest rankings.

Epic Cat Runner is free to play and is available exclusively from the App Store. It can be played on iPhone or iPad in English or simplified Chinese, and received a large update earlier this month. Watch for future updates on its Facebookpage.
