is the latest game to enter the Kickstarter campaign phase. The project is the debut game of two brothers, under the mantle of Appropriately Mistitled Studios, and it is being developed in the latest version of CryEngine.

John Rimmer, the protagonist in Hiddyn , wakes up chained and alone in a dark place. He manages to set himself free, but has no idea how to escape. While moving about, Rimmer encounters Hiddyn, a mysterious being with an unknown purpose. Soon after, they strike a deal: Rimmer will receive help with escaping his predicament, but only if he entertains Hiddyn by solving a bunch of devious puzzles.

The puzzle gameplay in Hiddyn revolves around using the Tele-swap gun, a device that allows Rimmer to have two objects switch places. Other than just moving objects, the video shows how the gun can help with getting the character to higher ledges by activating platforms. Throughout the puzzle-solving excursion, the antagonist Hiddyn drops many notes and plot-related hints that lead to unraveling the mysteries that plague Rimmer.

Appropriately Mistitled Studios has set their Kickstartergoal at $5,000 USD. Besides helping lift off the project, they took to crowdfunding to hopefully gain some funding for their studio as a whole. According to the page, the extra cash will help the two college students buy higher quality equipment to produce more impressive-looking games. Pledging $10 secures a key for the game.
