Androids Strike Back in Strategic Defence

Robots striking back at humans sounds like the typical sci-fi setup, but in Strategic Defence , we take the side of androids who face extinction.

, we take the side of androids who face extinction. As the robots rebuild their Commander, it’s up to you to resist the human offense in this tower defense game.

The android commander grows between levels, delving into a complex talent tree. The bevy of upgrades passively strengthen units and unlock new armaments like the Pulse Laser and Nova Cannon. They can be reset at any time, however, which is strategically important. Certain skillsets and builds will benefit efforts in some levels and approaches much more. Rather than classically fighting off wave after wave of assaults, levels in Strategic Defence have you fulfilling objectives. All maps have secondary ones, which make them replayable and harder to master.

There are 25 levels in total for the full version of Strategic Defence , bringing with them about 6 hours of gameplay. The game’s out now for iOS, though it is primarily optimized for iPhone and iPad. A free Lite version can be downloaded here, while the full edition is £2.99.
