Unleash Mustachioed Fury in Unnamed Fiasco
Brazil-based indie developer Unnamed Fiasco Team recently announced their debut title, Unnamed Fiasco.
The game is a 2D local multiplayer arena shooter.
Unnamed Fiasco came to be as the result of a game jam where the theme was “limited color palette.” The goal was to make the player explore different weapon colors in order to get the correct weapon that will damage the opponent. This evolved into having the player collect colorful shards to activate their weapons, with each weapon type given its own strengths and weaknesses. Players can also use items like shields and mines, plus stun and weapon disable waves, adding a layer of strategy to matches. As a form of self co-op, when the player dies, a previous-life clone spawns, which mimics the previous life’s movements and actions.
Another feature is minute madness; every minute a new match modifier, such as inverted controls, low gravity, or ping pong is enabled to change the way the game is played. Unnamed Fiasco will also feature 4 game modes including: Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Treasure Hunt, and Police Chase.
Look for Unnamed Fiasco later this year on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux. The game will also be released on Xbox One via ID@Xbox. No exact pricing details have been specified. To learn more about the game, follow the Unnamed Fiasco Team on Facebookand Twitter.
