California College Offering Crowdfunding Workshops

Cogswell College, located in Sunnyvale, California, will be hosting workshops for creatives and entrepreneurs looking for crowdfunding tips. The workshops take place on May 22 and 23, the first day for creatives and entrepreneurs, and the next for non-profit purposes.
“Cogswell College’s leadership in entrepreneurship and digital arts and engineering now embraces Crowdfunding as a way for creative entrepreneurs to attract support and funding for their projects,” said Deb Snyder, Cogswell president and chief academic officer. “These workshops offer a way for students and professionals to receive intensive, hands-on training in cutting edge techniques to fund their ideas and businesses.”
Leading the workshop is CJ Cornell, Director of Venture Development and Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Cogswell Polytechnical College. Participants of the workshop will learn effective ways to put their ideas into motion, and successfully fund them into fruition. The two-day event will feature guest speakers and instructors from well known companies of Silicon Valley, as well as experts in the subject of crowdfunding, social media, and video production.
Registration for the workshops is available now at special “early bird” discounts, $25 for general admission and $10 for students.
