‘Blot’ Gets Ready For The Fourth Of July
With the fourth of July fast approaching, many games developed west of the Atlantic are sure to get some form of stars and stripes themed coating in preparation for the festivities.
With the fourth of July fast approaching, many games developed west of the Atlantic are sure to get some form of stars and stripes themed coating in preparation for the festivities. For some time now, Blot has enjoyed the privilege of being called the “best hand drawn game. Ever.” Well, as the champion that it is, Majestic Games are giving their charming, hand-drawn, fly-by experience an update that is sure to keep it on top.
In true patriotic fashion, Majestic have added a few American Revolution inspired features to the game. First off is a costume featuring a silly hat and toy horse. With it, the grinning blot can soar across the parchment background, galloping along just like Paul Revere during his famous midnight ride from Boston to Concord. To complete the experience, an entirely new addition to the game’s challenge mode has been added to make the scene whole, adding a 16th century backdrop and obstacles to the game — if you squint a bit it might feel like you’ve taken a step back in time!
All flag waving aside, the developers have also added seven other costumes to the game, sure to please all fans, yank or otherwise. The other big feature is a tool belt, allowing your joyful blot to sail across the screen with up to three tools to aid in his quest to remain unhindered by erasers, pencils, pens and just about everything else that ink tends to get hung up on.
The update has already been released, you can pick up the game with its red, white and blue wrappings right now on the App Storefor all iOS devices.
