Encore of the Night trailer is Puzzle Quest meets Castlevania

Essentially it's a mashup of classic Symphony of the Night sprites (and music, by the sound of it) with some of the experience-based nuances found in Puzzle Quest. Rather than a Bejeweled rip-off, however, it looks like Encore will play more like Capcom's Super Puzzle Fighter, which is itself a slight deviation of Columns, which, naturally, was a riff on Tetris. So this is basically Tetris. (No, it's not.) IfI had an iPhone, I would totally buy this. Alas, I do not, and therefor never will.
