It’s the most epic role reversal of medieval time.
It’s the most epic role reversal of medieval time. In Rescue The Prince, a 2.5D non-isometric puzzlefest, Triple Cherry Games are catering to everyone out there who’s ever wanted the princess to be the knight in shining armor instead. The brave protagonist Selene must venture across unknown lands in order to save not one, but fifty princes who are being held captive by five wicked dragons.
Featuring fifty levels teeming with beautiful, modernistic pixel art, powerful magic spells to vanquish your enemies with, and a turn-based environment that allows you to plan your strategy well in advance, Rescue The Prince is the type of game that will have players losing themselves in fun puzzling goodness for hours on end. The game is currently on Kickstarterand has raised £483 of its £15,000 goal at the time of this article, but it needs our valiant hearts to make Selene’s epic adventure a reality. The fun, enigmatic soundtrack also provides a fitting mood for puzzle solving, and for that matter, prince hunting. And for players who have grown up with Super Mario Brothers on Nintendo, fear not, for in every castle there is an actual prince to be saved, each with a different story of how they got there to unravel.
Save The Prince is expected for release on PC, Mac, and Linux in March 2015. For the latest updates on Rescue The Prince, follow Triple Cherry Games on Twitterand stop by their Facebookpage.
