Mayan Death Robots Wins Big at Casual Connect 2014
Sileni Studios was proud to receive the award for the audiences Best Game of Show at Casual Connect Eastern Europe 2014 for their game Mayan Death Robots .
. An artillery game similar to Worms , the game stood out to the audience from other competing indie games, like Out There and McDroid .
Mayan Death Robots allows players to control massive alien robots during the peak of Mayan civilization. The robots do battle with each other using high-tech, destructive weaponry that literally changes the landscape, either through destructive measures or by creating new platforms and walls. Players will be able to choose from 10 different robots with unique fighting styles, allowing for a variety of tactics.
Each robot in Mayan Death Robots is greeted and worshiped by a Mayan tribe as they believe it is one of their gods, come down to Earth to protect them and destroy their enemies. Little do they realize that the Mayan gods are real and can spring up to attack the alien robots for their blasphemy at any time, forcing the robots to work together to destroy this larger and all-consuming foe.
