Table Top Racing to Launch on PS Vita This Spring

This spring, Playrise Digital have teamed up with the indie publisher Ripstone and announced that their award-winning mobile game Table Top Racing will be coming to PlayStation Vita.

will be coming to PlayStation Vita. This mobile racing game comes to us from the creator of WipEout , Nick Burcombe, who is now the CEO of Playrise Digital. Originally for Android and iOS, Table Top Racing has shown itself to be extremely popular with over 4.8 million downloads, and is almost guaranteed to bring in even more fans with this launch.

This racer may seem to be like any other racing game out there, but the simplistic and unassuming style will leave you charmed and excited to play more. Reminiscent of Micromachines and Mario Kart , diminutive vehicles careen furiously across tables among full-sized table obstacles such as dinner plates, utensils, and even food. Players can outpace the competition by choosing between 17 fully upgradeable cars and picking up 9 different power ups during the race. Players will be able to compete online with 4 other players, have access to a global ranking board, 8 tabletop tracks, 6 gameplay modes, and over 30 special events.

With the game launching on Vita soon, improvements and additional features have been added to the game including, a new accelerator and brake control, smooth, highly detailed graphics, more responsive handling, and the use of Vita’s rear touch pad.
