Indie Intermission Sunday Round Up: Frustration

Welcome to Sunday the ultimate day in the indie week with my Indie Intermission weekly round-up.

Welcome to Sunday the ultimate day in the indie week with my Indie Intermission weekly round-up. This week many of the games

The Terrible, Terrible Turret is a very interesting and manic arcade game in which you must continually move to avoid your own bullet storm. Although the odds are you will only last a few seconds the game gets very intense very quickly creating some crazy fun gameplay.

Path Of The Trees was a game created to back the protests that have recently been happening in Turkey. In Path Of The Trees you must create a line of trees across the board and circumnavigate the roadblocks put in your way. Although the game is rather easy the art style is very nice and the gameplay is simple yet functional.

Diren Teyze is yet another take on the Turkey protests, although this time you take a more active role in the protest as you patrol the streets trying to clean up people’s acts. The gameplay is rather simple but offers a fair amount of fun for the duration.

Futiltris is a very interesting take on Tetris that really takes the gameplay into a whole new direction. Futiltris is quite possible the most frustrating game around and it creates some very interesting gameplay mechanics making this game a whole bunch of frustrating fun.

Star Guard is a great little blast from the past that offers some manic fast paced shoot em up action that does remind me greatly of video games gone by. Although the checkpoint and unlimited re-spawn mechanic makes the game a little easy overall Star Guard is a lot of fun and offers a great deal of fun whilst you play it.

I hope you have all enjoyed playing through this selection of game this week, most of which have some rather frustrating mechanics that will continually beat you down time and time again. I hope you have enjoyed this weeks selection, be sure to come back tomorrow for an all new Indie Intermission .
