IGM Forum Finds – An Imp? A Fiend!
A platforming/action adventure, An Imp?
An Imp? A Fiend! is the latest release by Blaze Epic. A fiend trapped underground is unsure of why he’s there, but he needs to battle his way out while figuring out his past, fending off monsters, and solving platforming puzzles through many different areas. Mansions full of zombies, caves filled with dragons, and quite a number of boss fights stand between the fiend and freedom.
Using mechanics that fans of Super Meatboy and They Bleed Pixels are familiar with, the use of complicated strategy to reach treasure, keys, and avoid obstacles makes this game a bit of a challenge. Raiding villages and looting dungeons is interspersed with enemy dispensation and boss fights, adding more challenges with every room.
Available for Windows, Mac, or Linux through either Groupees’ Build a Greenlight 11 Bundle(this week, only), or directly from Blaze Epic’s website, An Imp? A Fiend! is $3.99, and supports both keyboard and Xbox 360 controller play.
