Rogue Wizards – Spellbind Studios Reveals New Singularity Spell
Spellbind Studios is hard at work on their game Rogue Wizards , a creation from the mind of Colin Day, a AAA developer who worked on games like Nox , and Diablo III .
. The game is currently undergoing it’s Kickstarter campaign, which is set to end on November 11th. New details for the game are continuously revealed as the campaign continues, including the newest announcement of a Singularity Spell; a higher level Cosmic Magic spell capable of creating a singularity that catches and pulls targets into a miniature black-hole.
Rogue Wizards is a tower building, dungeon crawler RPG with a potential for unique game experiences depending on player strategy, and the procedurally generated dungeons and loot. The game has also received praise as a promising RPG by AAA veterans like David Brevik ( Diablo series creator), Mike Booth ( Nox and Left 4 Dead creator and designer), and Erich Shaefer ( Diablo 1 & 2, and Torchlight 1 & 2 designer).
Players will have many spells available to them as they level up, so long as they have the needed reagents to cast the spell in the first place. After battling monsters and gaining loot, players will build their Wizard Tower and a thriving town in order to create shops that allow the purchase of reagents, better equipment, and powerful enchantments. Players can also recruit other adventurers to help them on their quest, as they dive into deeper and more dangerous dungeons.
Rogue Wizards will be developed for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android platforms. The game will offer thousands of different items that can provide different effects depending on how they’re combined, as well as a number of unique spells from six different schools of magic.
