Lots of gamers really love fast-paced shoot-em-ups, or fighting free-for-all’s where people all over the globe beat the virtual tar out of one another.

Lots of gamers really love fast-paced shoot-em-ups, or fighting free-for-all’s where people all over the globe beat the virtual tar out of one another. There are lots of indie games which provide things like that, and they’re great. But sometimes, some gamers just want a slow, even lazy game with sunny skies and relaxing tasks to complete.

Enter World’s Dawn .

This free-to-play farming sim from independent developer David Grund recently released its second season, making Spring and Summer available to PC gamers worldwide. This brings the total playable hours up to 15+. As the hero, you move into an old farmhouse in the charming hamlet of Sugar Blossom Village. As in other farming games, you’ll raise crops and livestock, fish and forage for wild game, and more.

You’ll also interact with more than thirty local NPCs, making friends, even flirting and marrying. As you become more of a fixture in the community, however, you’ll discover that something’s not quite right in the charming town. Ever since the passing of beloved neighbor Noah Hayseed, three years before the time of the game, Sugar Blossom Village has lost much of its enchantment. The residents are becoming afraid that the nature guardians, the ones who provide the village with things like rain and sunlight, have lost interest in them. Even while you feed your chickens and grow your corn, train your horse and remodel your farmhouse, you’ll learn the truth about Noah and the village’s history, and perhaps help your new neighbors restore magic to the land.

With charming graphics and colorful characters, World’s Dawn offers a relaxed gaming environment with plenty to do and little urgency. Unwind after a busy day with your very own farm by downloading the game free of charge from the official website. You can also watch for the trailer announcing the release of Autumn on the game’s YouTube channel.
