IGM is on Patreon! Join the Indie Armada for just $2 per Month!
July 8 is here, which means the IGM Patreon has officially launched !
! It’s been many months in the making, so we hope you’ll check out the campaign, and consider pledging in support of our endless crusade to spotlight and celebrate the indie gaming community. Some members of the team helped pitch in for the campaign video, which is embedded below for your viewing pleasure (and should serve as an endless source of nightmare fuel as I eagerly await the soul-crushingly depressing YouTube comments critiquing my every flaw).
We have a pretty large audience here at IGM, judging by our monthly unique traffic and social media presence, and now we’re calling upon all of you to help us grow IGM into the pillar of strength I know it can be for the indie games community. Our Patreon page is a bit different than most other campaigns, and features a ton of milestones and project goals that should keep us busy for the next few years, if not far further into the future. We obviously don’t expect to make a boatload of money overnight, but we think we have enough content and rewards lined up to give our readers a worthwhile reason to invest their hard-earned money with us.
The one thing I’d like to draw special attention to is our recommended tier: For just $2 a month, you can become an IGM Magazine subscriber. That’s right, just two dollars a month! That’s the cheapest we’ve ever offered the Magazine. The great thing about our Patreon is that, the more Patrons that choose to support us, the more free goodies you guys will get for those two dollars. From a special, bonus bimonthly mini-Magazine, to free entry to our Indie-centric convention, to a monthly raffle of games, soundtracks, and more, it pays to encourage your friends to support IGM!
The IGM crew has put a ton of work into this place, and we’d love to take things to the next level. With your support, we can make that happen. Whether you’re a developer, gamer, or just a fan of fun, creative content, please consider pledging those two dollars per month in support of The Indie Game Magazine . We think it’s money well spent, and we hope you will, too. Fingers crossed!
