MSI Brings the Powerful GeForce GTX 900 Cards into All-in-One Rigs

Laptops and all-in-one setups have traditionally played second violins to powerful, towering desktop rigs, but MSI Computer Corp, a computer part provider, is looking to change that.

Laptops and all-in-one setups have traditionally played second violins to powerful, towering desktop rigs, but MSI Computer Corp, a computer part provider, is looking to change that. Starting next week on October 22nd, a new all-in-one machine from them will feature NVIDIA GeForce GTX cards, the 980M and 990M, the most powerful ones available right now.

These GeForce GTX cards were unveiled last month in September, and they feature the fastest, most efficient GPU yet, aimed for next-gen experiences and taking virtual reality peripherals into account. Other than the cards, MSI’s all-in-one products take advantage of Intel Core i7 processors with up to 16 GB DDR3L memory. The chart below displays the graphical power comparison done in 3DMark, a benchmarking program.

The MSI machines feature the company’s Super RAID framework that works together with the dual mSATA SSD hard drives for much faster performance. The Killer E2200 Networking technology also used aim to improve network performance and reduce lag. As for sound, the all-in-one setup has Yamaha speakers set up for a two-way sound output, to ensure quality even in subtler game audio nuances.

The setup has an anti-glare matte display with MSI’s Anti-Flicker technology that aims to reduce eye-strain from longer play sessions.

This powerhouse can be purchased starting next week on October 22nd for $1,799.99. To get more info about this and other hardware setups, check out the lineup at MSI’s website.
