Octodad: Dadliest Catch Stumbles Ashore On January 30
Loving Father.
Loving Father. Caring Husband. Secret Octopus. Young Horses announced today that the highly-anticipated Octodad: Dadliest Catch will release on January 30 for PC, Mac, and Linux. While the original Octodad game began as a student project which can be downloaded for free here, the sequel expands upon the original in every way. Enhanced physics and more fluid controls, along with the ability to venture outside the house, open up new possibilities as Octodad awkwardly flails around in an attempt to keep his identity concealed. To accompany the launch announcement, the team released the following trailer, which gives us our first glimpse at some of the story aspects of the game.
Dadliest Catch will be coming to the PS4 as well, complete with support for PS Move, but no firm release date has been determined. Currently, Young Horses is targeting a March launch window, but have stated this is merely an estimate at this point. Once released, Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be available for purchase via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store. To find out more about the game, visit the official website.
