During World War II, deep in the mountains of southern Germany, an underground bunker was the site of human experimentation. The bunker remained hidden for decades until Nathan and Allison stumbled upon it while investigating an old tower. Once they enter the bunker, they realize that they have stumbled upon the site of one of the worst crimes imaginable.
is an immersive horror game that pulls players into the haunted hallways of an abandoned, unknown facility. As players search the haunted hallways of the bunker, explore the tower environment, and complete puzzles, they get closer and closer to escaping, but will that be enough for their survival?
Created in Unreal Engine 4, The Facility has built in eye-tracking support so the game reacts to where players are gazing, and alters the experience. The game knows where players are looking, and events and scares respond accordingly. Oculus Rift compatibility allows for even more immersive gameplay.
The Facility took only sixteen days to be Greenliton Steam, and it is currently in Early Access for Windows, with the hope of being released on Mac and consoles in the future. PolyDigital is currently in the process of getting the alpha demo up onto the Steamstore; the early access build will only contain a portion of the game so as to not spoil the story for the full release.
To see the art development of The Facility , with no story as to avoid spoilers, PolyDigital livestreams the development on Twitch. To learn more about PolyDigital, be sure to “like” their page on Facebook. Check out more gameplay videos on their YouTubechannel.
