Fear Effect Sedna Launches on Kickstarter

It’s been over 10 years since the original Fear Effect hit the Playstation.

hit the Playstation. Now French developer Sushee is launching a campaign to create a new entry into the series that was created by Eido’s all those years ago. After receiving approval from Square Enix Collective, Sushee aims to complete development of, Fear Effect Sedna .

Unlike the previous entries in the series, Fear Effect Sedna , is a real-time tactical action game featuring the original cast of Hana, Deke, Glas, and Rain. The game takes place four years after the events in first Fear Effect . Their journey will take them from the caves of Greenland to the streets of Hong Kong. Players will explore myths from the Inuit people as they meet and fight creatures from the spirit world. Combat in the game will allow players to exploit their heroes special abilities and combine them to maximize their effectiveness in attacks.

Fear Effect Sedna is currently in development and is seeking funding on Kickstarter. The game has an estimated May 2017 release date.
