Developers Fourratic say that the main motivation for making the game came from wanting to revive the magic of childhood memories, drawing from like films E.T , Weird Science, and Teen Wolf. The game itself will play in an orthogonal 2D style, much like The Legend of Zelda. The core mechanics of Crossing Souls revolve around exploration of the town, the woods and much more unbelievable places, solving puzzles, and fighting enemies that range from soldiers to dinosaurs. Players will be in charge of five different characters in the game, each with their own personality, weapons, attacks and abilities.
Crossing Souls is coming to Mac, PC and Linux in 2015. You can follow the Fourratic team on Twitterand visit their Facebookpage for the latest updates on the game. What are your thoughts on the game?
