Be The Emperor’s Wrath in Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor- Martyr

Budapest-based developer NeocoreGames recently announced the development of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor- Martyr ; the game is an action-RPG produced in collaboration with Warhammer 40k creator, Games Workshop.

“There’s a reason why we chose the world of Warhammer 40,000: It’s intense, brutal, visceral – a perfect material for an action RPG,” said Zoltán ‘Pozs’ Pozsonyi, a producer at NeocoreGames. “Working with Games Workshop, we’re doing our best to bring a high quality game to the community. We’re huge fans as well, so we care deeply about this game.”

NeocoreGames describes Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor- Martyr as a persistent sandbox action-RPG. The single player campaign sets players in a grim secret war amongst the stars as the agents of the ever-vigilant Inquisition. The studio also promises that after the campaign concludes, the story will continue in a colossal sandbox game that the developer claims will grant years of gradual development and a continuous flow of content that will enrich the action-RPG gameplay.

The announcement itself doesn’t linger on any specifics, so we don’t yet know a great deal else about Inquisitor- Martyr at this time. What we do know is that the game is set to release in 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac.
