Egyptian Puzzler Scarab Tales set for Release on Steam

Playito, a developer of mostly mobile apps, is making the jump to Steam with their previously-released title, Scarab Tales .

. This game is an Egyptian-themed puzzle game wherein the player must help scarabeus beetles find their way to certain tiles by way of trial-and-error. With 100 levels, Steam achievements, and leaderboards, Scarab Tales is looking to make a splash.

Grids begin with a variety of objects to interact with, along with a number of scarabs. The scarabs can be prompted to move by clicking on them, and players must decide what actions can be taken with the other items on the grid, based on which direction the scarabs are moving. Roadblocks, tracks, and other things must be accounted for, with the ultimate goal of finishing the level with the fewest number of moves. Once players have finished a level, they can compare scores with other players from all over the globe, across platforms, and try to move themselves ahead of the pack.
