‘Autumn Dynasty’ Expected For iPads This Summer
The developers behind touchscreen RTS title, Autumn Dynasty , have popped up after a long absence to confirm that they are alive and to inform everyone that their game will be released on to the App Store soon.

It was back in 2009 that Autumn Dynasty was last really seen as it picked up the award for Best Student Game at that year’s IGF. That winning student team known as Touch Dimensions have since been hard at work on the game to ensure that the early attention it was given is polished up into something marvellous. The time has come for that work to end now though, as the developers tell us to get prepared for a proper RTS experience on our iPads.

Autumn Dynasty isn’t just any old RTS though (that’s probably obvious by now), it is actually set out in a Chinese painting and the player commands their armies from overhead with beautiful mulit-touch brush strokes. Autumn Dynasty is expected to arrive on the App Store for iPads this summer, but the developers have demonstrated the game’s portability to consoles, the Microsoft Surface, and mobile phones previously – so look out for it elsewhere in the future.
